Mandela Station – Master Plan Transit Oriented Mixed-Use & Affordable Housing Development

Keystone Development Group is the Development Manager for the Mandela Station transit oriented masterplan and mixed-use development located on BART property at the West Oakland BART Station. The proposed project includes 522 market rate residential units, 240 affordable residential units, 300,000 square feet life science office, and 53,000 square feet retail. Keystone sought, secured, or assisted securing grant financing from ten governmental agencies for environmental remediation, infrastructure related improvements, and affordable housing totaling over $255 million. The proposed masterplan and residential projects received their entitlement and environmental approvals and the first phase of construction is scheduled for late-2026.
