Howard Terminal – Oakland A’s Stadium & Mixed-Use Development

Howard Terminal was the proposed location for the Oakland A’s new baseball stadium and mixed-use waterfront development in Oakland CA prior to the team’s decision to Las Vegas. The 55-acre site included a 35,000 capacity MLB ballpark, 3,000 residential units, 1.5 million square feet of office, 270,000 square feet of retail, 400 hotel rooms, a 3,500 seat performance venue, and 18.3 acres of waterfront parks and open space. The project was a Public Private Partnership between the Oakland Athletics, City of Oakland, and the Port of Oakland. Keystone Development Group was a member of the Oakland A’s real estate team and provided project management services including vertical development feasibility and oversite of the environmental regulatory team. Keystone also lead the Oakland A’s due diligence team in the acquisition of the Oakland Coliseum and proposed acquisition of the Vistra Energy Peaker Power Plant.
